I wish I could find my ipod so that I can listen to Mazzy Star on the train on my way to work. On another note, I am just happy that we can talk about just anything. I have a great deal of fun with you.

Put the axel on, and roll again.

He stood up with a sailor friend, made it known upon my sister's wedding day.

I just wanted to state that I think it is important to have the creative flow going, even if you are not working in your area of expertise. It is limiting to say that you are a painter, a musician, a writer, etc.. Some of the best artists that I've known partake in as many artistic endeavors as possible, and open their mind to many different things. Most colleges now encourage interdisciplinary studies. Lack of funds can be seen as a problem for most artists, but remember that some things are free. Some of the best art is made within limitations. Inspirations can come in waves, but if you keep your brain working and keep creating (no matter what it is) inspiration is not as hard to come by. I have found things like baking cookies, writing, reading and taking photographs to be cathartic during my times of lesser inspiration. These things often provoke little projects like my 10 cds for 10 people in 2010. Winter can be such a drab time of the year, but my Chicago winters have not been as bad as Minnesota winters. I wonder why that is?

Something great is going to happen this year, I can feel it.
Oh I've got reservations
about so many things
but not about you

So this is what I get paid to do.

With marketing being my general title, and sign making being my official area of expertise, I can also add in-house photographer to my resume.
I wish I was the real thing. Kate said I was too much of the real thing. I wish I felt like the real thing. The thing is, well, undisclosed.
You say for now but you probably mean forever. They always mean forever.

Carmensita, gracias.

Another idea. (Friend's band, not ready)

A work in progress.

Experimental Poster for a friend's band.

I am nowhere near where I want to be as a graphic designer. This is partially hand drawn during a lecture. Colored in photshop and illustrator.

And if you want to be me, be me. And if you want to be you, be you. Because there is a million things to do, you know that there are.

Breathe Me.

It's your typical overcast day in Chicago. I'm in Hannah's big, white bed blogging when I should really be cleaning her house.

I am so sad about wrong places at the wrong times. I appreciate you, and I appreciate you for saying something last night. That took a lot of courage. I appreciate you as a friend. I appreciate you kissing me. There was something there for me when that happened.

I appreciate being appreciated. My stomach is turning.

Dilly Dally.

Cryptic messages to one half of a diptich.

I really just liked you for months and had no way of showing you or telling you. And now, I am run away mode because I can't gauge whether or not your actions are speaking for you. I get butterflies when I'm around you. And every time that door opened, my stomach sank because I had hoped it was you.

The first day of having a digital camera.

And all I can do is take pictures of myself.

It's scarier weather, when we're both together. I know we'll be just fine.

Why I tend to skip the first week..

Joe had asked me to update my blog a bit more, because he noticed the month gaps between each post. Lately, each post has been nothing but photographs or art work. Now this is me, complaining. I. Hate. Beginner's. Courses. Consider those of you lucky who were able to take classes in high school where you could skip most of this bullshit for free.

I truly value learning, but only when it means learning new things. I also really enjoy learning when my professor engages me. Seems as if I am having post Lauria Locsmondy blues, because I don't think I will ever find a professor as good as her.

I just received a digital camera from the bookstore. There shall be many more images uploaded here. Be prepared.

There is something about folk and country music that makes me feel nostalgic for a memory that I don't have.

Celestial Seasonings (Celeste Rogers).

Photoshoot with Celeste last weekend.

My buffalo ain't bunk!

I haven't been making my time on my blog worthwhile. Seriously, I have either been sleeping, over sleeping, resigning from one of my jobs, playing around with new friends and doing copious amounts of art.

I'm gonna take the next few posts to show some stuff.
