since the very first day we met

I am terribly excited about this final project for my Drawing 1 class. An animation in an avant garde style about a couple of peaches who go to a farmer's market. It will be cute and it will be posted.


Otherwise, I have been piled with copious amounts of school work. I'm not sure if it is actually that much, but it feels like it when you work every single day. Yesterday, I did nothing but sit in my house and sleep. I hadn't had a day off in a month!


Note to self: Take another day off in near future because of finals. Also, sleep more and longer and stop partying like an animal.

A Saturday night to remember. Cheap groceries at the Mexican market turned into a grilling fiesta on the roof top with Amanda, Mariah, Bobby (my landlord) and his two friends. They spoke of growing up in Pilsen over several generations. Fresh vegetables on the roof. A hammock. Fireworks from the Sox's playing field and also from the Pier. The wind cooling us down from a pure hot summer day.


I am constantly busy with so many projects, and I am loving life.
